In this assignment we had to imagine there was a grid on out photo, splitting it in to nine squares. Instead of placing our subject in the middle square, we experimented with placing the subject in the corners. During this week I played with the imagery of lines separating the photo as well as imagining lines that separate the photo into nine squares. Many of the photos have their subject behind lines as well or next to or in front.

ReplyDeleteThese are really great! They all flow very nicely and look like they belong in a catalog. It is blatantly clear you put a ton of work into these and they turned out lovely.
ReplyDeleteBlack and white really benefits your photos. I think i touched on this last week but the way you use the amount of light in your shots really benefits the definition and whereabouts of you subjects and enhances the grid/placement effect. Some of them get lost and filled a little much, but otherwise are lovely.
