Here is the Macro Spring collection of Photos. For this I interpreted macro as macro worlds. I started with the figures i used before then i tried to incorporate paper dolls then moved to legos. My brother helped to stage the figures then i took them. I left the lego ones to mysterious and a little blurry to give it life and motion.

I used the effect tint to create the orange background with the other shades of orange fading into the middle of the photo.

I made Aubry not look directly into the camera, then made the photo black and white and increased the darkness and the contrast to make the photo more intense. Then I used the effect clone to create two of him.

I made it blurry to give it an abstract look and focused in on the hair. She did this in a few of her photos for her grid series.

For Grace's photos I used her body to create a shape. I looked at her series of the girl at the park with the for and saw how the model created interesting shapes with her body.

Nora took many photos of flowers so I placed her in them so that they surround her. I took it on very bright lighting to make it look less real.

For Renna I took a photo of her jumping like she took at night with her friends. I just had her legs in the frame similarly to her series.

For Lena I used her text to create a more diminutional photo. I also made it black and white like all of her photos on the street in her earlier series.

I couldn't find neon but I used her bright color editing to create a surreal photo. I used the effect "tint" and then pressed darken to create the two shades of purpel

For Zaina I tried to create mystery by hiding her behind the door so she is peaking through the glass. I used the effects of cross process, intrepid and dusk to give it a more mysterious photo.

Second series post (optional)

Song project

For this assignment we had to take photos which represented a song of our choosing. The song has no words so i wanted to use color to tie the photos with the song. I first started by photographing abstract shots to make a more fluid collection. Then I used different settings and objects that are very different from earch other but the colors tie them together. The song I chose is called doug's theme by ugly Casanova. This is a very whimsical song which i can't find on you tube. This is an instrumental song with guitar and humming.

Series Draft 1

For my project I tried to recreate greek myths and add a modern interpretations or spin. This myth is the narcissus myth about a man who falls in love with his reflection. I tried to make it contemporary instead of recreating the greek wardrobe and columns. I hope these photos convey my project.
