Creating Depth Through Repetition




For this assignment we had to play with depth for a third time but focusing on repetition. We had to have our subjects repeating from the front of the frame to the back. For this weeks assignment I looked at objects that use and see everyday but may never notice. I blurred some of the photos so the viewers eye would find the center point of the photo.

    These are really good photos and they all show depth with repetition. My favorite is the last one. I like that it is taken from such a low spot and you see the whiter more exposed room on the left and the dark ominous staircase on the left. Great balance

    Something I like about your photos is that the shapes of the objects which you repeat are in and of themselves unique and beautiful. I think the intricacy of their shapes adds a lot to how your photos are crafted by ay of your set I would have taken out the fist of the two Abacus photos because it decreases the flow of the set. Awesome, awesome photos.

    Your photos are amazing. They are all unique in there own way, which helps make your set come together and flow well. I really like the photos of the glasses and the piano. Awesome job!

    This is a great set of photos! I think you did a great job making everyday objects stand out! I love the one with the glasses! You set it up really well and you were able to blur it in the right place so that it looked really deep!

    This set is great. Most of the photos are extraordinary and the ones that aren't quite extraordinary are wonderful! I especially like the fifth and the seventh ones.

    Nice set of photos, I really like the photo of the piano keys, it really shows depth. Great work all of these photos work well with the assignment.
